Heather Kipniss is an active fourth-grader at Summit Hill Elementary. She enjoys writing and playing softball in her free time, and has been playing golf since she was five years old.
Cody Barden, PGA Director of Instruction at White Columns Country Club, has helped Heather overcome an overtop swing through drill work. "I used to never be able to get the ball in the air," Heather explains, adding that her most memorable golf experience was when she "connected with the ball for the first time and the ball soared into the air."
Heather recently participated in tournaments at White Columns, Pine Isle, and Chateau Elan, noting that her lowest score (39) was a highlight of playing the Chateau Elan tournament. She hopes to participate in more tournaments in 2009 and is currently focused on improving her short-game.
